A press for what illuminates.

Lumen is light. Our name is a promise: to find the books that shed it, and to carry them out into the world.

We publish nonfiction, memoir, poetry, business, self-development and radical wellness: work from thinkers, practitioners and writers who are changing how we live, heal, lead and love.

We are small by design. Every title receives close editorial attention, thoughtful design and a considered path to its readers. From the high desert of New Mexico, we're building a home for books with staying power.
